MEET YOU IN HEAVEN?
WILL I MEET YOU THERE?
God has prepared two places for a human being to reside in for all eternity.
One is heaven. "If I go and PREPARE a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am there you may be also." John 14:3
Two is Hell. "Then shall He say also to them on the left hand, depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED for the Devil and his angels." Matthew 25:41 "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal." Matthew 25:46
God has stated two actions on our part to escape Hell and reach Heaven.
We will repent of our sins or PERISH. (Luke 13:3)
We will believe in the finished work of Christ in our behalf or PERISH. (John 3:16)
Receiving a sinful nature through Adam and Eve, we are already steeped in sin. The biggest hurdle to be forgiven of sin is not our faith. It is to recognize our personal sins, which means we are condemned, headed for Hell. (Romans 8:1) Here is Biblical Truth seldom heard in our day.
God sent His Son to this cursed world to die in our deserved place on the cross. He also brought Him forth from the dead and seated Him back on His right hand on His throne, which meant God's complete satisfaction with His work in our behalf. It is this same resurrection power that makes us new creatures. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Have you accepted God's gift? (Romans 6:23) Faith and repentance are abilities given to us by God. Thus we are saved by Grace, independent of any work or merit on our part. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
Find a place of prayer and call out to God for His deliverance of Sin. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
Believe Him to do as promised. Will I meet you in Heaven? I will be there. Look for me upon arrival.
